TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE12

I wish to inform you that Roscommon County Council have decided to temporarily close the following roads in order to carry out necessary improvement works, from Thursday  18th to Wednesday 24th June (excluding Saturday & Sunday) from 8am – 6pm on each day.  There may be an increased likelihood of delays on the roads as a consequence. Travel times will be increased due to the diversion. Emergency Services and local access only will be accommodated, but there will be disruption to local access at times.

The L6033, L1410 & L1405 at their intersection at Moyglass, which forms the Moyglass Crossroads.

Diversion routes will be in place – please refer to the attached traffic management plan.

Works are being carried out by Roscommon County Council.
