Temporary Traffic Management for the Athlone Operational Area from Monday25/05/2026 to Tuesday 26/05/2026.

I wish to inform you that from Monday 25 May 2026 to Tuesday 26 May 2026, Roadstone Ltd, on behalf of Roscommon County Council, will continue to carry out night-time road resurfacing works within the Athlone Operational Area.

The works will take place on the following roads:

• L2047 – Bealnamulla Road, Athlone, Co. Roscommon.
• R446 – Monksland, Athlone, Co. Roscommon.
• R362 – Monksland, Athlone, Co. Roscommon.

A Stop & Go traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works. Emergency services access and local access will be maintained at all times.

The proposed working hours are 7:00 pm to 5:00 am, Monday to Friday.

As a result of these works, there may be delays to traffic on the above routes.

The works are being carried out by Roadstone Ltd, on behalf of Roscommon County Council.
