This is the first progress report of the Roscommon County Council Local Authority Climate Action Plan 2024-2029 (LACAP). This progress report reflects the plan implementation period from February 2024 to January 2025, in line with the annual milestone of the adoption of the plan by elected members of Roscommon County Council. This report offers an overview of progress in the first of the plan implementation against the ambition of the plan, aligned to the Government’s National Climate Objective to achieve the transition to a climate resilient, biodiversity rich, environmentally sustainable and climate neutral economy by 2050.
