Temporary Traffic Management for the Athlone Operational Area from Wednesday 24th June 2026 to Tuesday 07th July 2026.

I wish to inform you that from Wednesday 24th June 2026 to Tuesday 07th July 2026, Murphy International Limited, will carry road resurfacing works within the Athlone Operational Area.

The works will take place on the following roads:

• R446 & L-2027 at Crannagh, Monksland, Athlone, Co. Roscommon.

A traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works. Emergency services access and local access will be maintained at all times.

The proposed working hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

As a result of these works, there may be delays to traffic on the above routes.

Please refer to the attached temporary traffic management layout plans for further details of the works.

The works are being carried out by Murphy International Limited.
