TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE12

I wish to inform you that Roscommon County Council have decided to temporarily close the following roads in order to carry out necessary improvement works, at various times and for short durations,  from Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th September from  8am – 6pm on each day. There may be an increased likelihood of delays on the roads as a consequence. Travel times will be increased due to the diversion. Emergency Services and local access only will be accommodated, but there will be disruption to local access at times.

The following are the sections of road being closed and the diversions which will be in place

L14107 Largan – No diversion (Cul-de-sac)

L6000 Aghamore – Diversions via L1431 & R368

L6027 Doon – Diversions via R368, N5 & L1412

Works are being carried out by Roscommon County Council.
