TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE 12

Roscommon County Council has decided to close the road set out in the schedule hereunder for the periods and the reason specified.

Road to be closed:          N61 at its junction with the N5 in Tulsk to its Junction with the R361 Greatmeadow (Boyle).               

Period of Closure:            9th to 20th November 2026 (7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday)  

Alternative Routes:         Via N5 to its junction with R361 at Frenchpark to junction of R361/N61 at Greatmeadow ( Boyle) and vice versa.   

Reason for Closures:      To facilitate road resurfacing works on the N61 at Carrownageeragh and N61 at Teermore.
