TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE12

Subject:            Temporary Road Closure for the Athlone Operational Area from Wednesday April 29th to Friday May 01st, 2026.

I wish to inform you that Roscommon County Council has decided to temporarily close the following road at various times over the course of the dates noted (Wednesday April 29th to Friday May 01st, 2026) in order to facilitate necessary road improvement works.

L-7573-0 Dundonnell, Co. Roscommon. (Diversion - L-7572, L-2031, R-357, L-2025)

Diversions will be in place (see attached map).  As a consequence, there may be an increased likelihood of delays on these roads. Emergency Services and local access only will be accommodated.

Works are being carried out by the Athlone Operational Area.
