TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE12

I wish to inform you that Roscommon County Council have decided to temporarily close the following road in order to carry out necessary improvement works on Friday 3rd July from 8am – 6pm. There may be an increased likelihood of delays on the roads as a consequence. Travel times will be increased due to the diversion. Emergency Services and local access only will be accommodated, but there will be disruption to local access at times.

The following are the sections of road being closed and the diversions which will be in place

L1406 Clooncraff – Diversions along L1035, L1031, L1431, R368 & L1410 via Hillstreet, Elphin & Largan

Works are being carried out by Roscommon County Council.
