TEMPORARY CLOSING OF ROADS

ROADS ACT 1993, SECTION 75

ROADS REGULATIONS 1994, ARTICLE12

I wish to inform you that Roscommon County Council have decided to temporarily close the following roads in order to facilitate necessary road improvement works from

Tuesday 08th of September until Friday 11th of September 2026 (inclusive)

Tuesday 08th until Thursday 10th  from 8:30am to 5:00pm R293, Creevy closed from Lisacal Village north towards Ballaghaderreen. Diversion via Loughlinn.R326 & R325. Local access maintained.

Friday 11th from 8:30am to 5:00pm R293, Curraghard  closed south of Lisacal Village. Diversion via Loughlinn.R326 & R325. Local access maintained.

There may be an increased likelihood of delays on these roads as a consequence. Emergency Services and local access only will be accommodated.

The works are being managed by Roscommon Operational Area.
