Roscommon Learning Links

Roscommon Learning Links is a professional ICT and Soft Skills Training Centre in Boyle (previously Roscommon Higher Education Centre). This is a third level outreach centre offering third level courses from a number of colleges across Ireland for the following:

Adult learners: Individuals who wish to pursue an academic qualification either for career or self-development;
Adult returners: Individuals who are returning to education after a prolonged period of absence from the educational sector;
Business/Organisations: Agencies who wish to rent the use of the centre for training days or seminars or to gain accreditation in business related courses;
Community Sector: Organisations who wish to rent the use of the centre for training days or seminars, or to gain accreditation in community development courses.

Courses on offer include: Business, Management, Information Technology and Recreation.

Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board

Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board is one of sixteen Education and Training Boards (ETBs) in the country and covers the counties of Galway and Roscommon. The ETBs were established on 1 July 2013 and were formerly known as VECs. ETBs are statutory authorities which have responsibility for education and training, youth work and a range of other statutory functions. ETBs manage and operate second-level schools, further education colleges, multi-faith community national schools and a range of adult and further education centres delivering education and training programmes.
