ROAD WORKS SPEED LIMIT (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Road Traffic Act 2004, Section 10

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 and in the interest of road safety Roscommon County Council has made a Road Works Speed Limit (Amendment) Order.

The Road Works Speed Limit Order No. 1 of 2026 is hereby amended insofar only as it relates to Location No. 3, by the substitution of the following for Location No. 3 in the Schedule to that Order.

All other locations contained in the Road Works Speed Limit Order No. 1 of 2026 remain unchanged and in full force and effect.

The Amendment Order applies from 16 June 2026 and shall have effect for the remainder of the period specified in the Road Works Speed Limit Order No. 1 of 2026, being 6 February 2026 to 5 February 2027. The Chief Executive shall have regard to any representations that are made to him in relation to this Road Works Speed Limit (Amendment) Order.
