I wish to inform you that from Tuesday 04th August 2026 to Friday 07th August 2026, Roscommon County Council will carry road resurfacing works within the Athlone Operational Area.

The works will take place on the following roads:

• R357 Shannonbridge Road, Co. Roscommon.

A traffic management system will be in operation for the duration of the works. Emergency services access and local access will be maintained at all times.

The proposed working hours are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

As a result of these works, there may be delays to traffic on the above route.

Please refer to the attached temporary traffic management layout plans for further details of the works.

Works are being carried out by the Athlone Operational Area.
