Offer a Home

We are asking anybody who has a house, apartment or holiday home that is not currently being used to offer it to people and families from Ukraine who need a safe place to stay.

We will manage your offer and keep you informed throughout the process.

A tax-free recognition payment of €800 per month is available to anybody offering accommodation to those fleeing Ukraine.

Commercial Offers of Accommodation

The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (DCEDIY) are currently contracting for properties which fall into one of the following categories:

1.  Hotel
2. Hostel
3. B & B or similar property which can accommodate at least 15 people
4. Guest house or similar property which can accommodate at least 15 people
5. Non-standard accommodation (e.g. multi-units; offices; warehouses) requiring reconfiguration to ensure suitability as accommodation for Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTPs)
6. Disused nursing home (nursing homes registered with HIQA on or after 1st September 2022 will not be considered)
7. Holiday village i.e. a full complex of holiday homes / apartments. (Offers of partial holiday complexes will not be considered)
