The Draft Noise Action Plan was prepared under S.I. No. 549 of 2018 (as amended) and public consultation will be open from 12.00 p.m. Friday 8th November 2024 for a period of 6 weeks until 12.00 p.m. Friday 20th December 2024
It should be noted that concurrently an Appropriate Assessment Screening has been undertaken and a report documenting this prepared. The AA Screening considers European Communities (Birds and Natural Habitats Regulations 2011 (S. I. No. 477 of 2011)). A Strategic Environmental Assessment report and determination was also prepared. As part of this screening stage includes a screening of environmental significance, to assess whether the plan is likely to result in significant effects and therefore taken forward for SEA.
