Subject:                Temporary Road Closure for the M-6-13 Slip road, Monksland, Athlone Operational Area on Wednesday 18th February 2026

Colas Joint Venture, on behalf of TII are carrying out safety works to replace a damaged sign, following a recent RTC at N6 Junction 12. In order to safely carry out these works, Colas Joint Venture shall be closing the eastbound off-slip for a short period of time on Wednesday 18th February. The slip road will be closed from 7pm and reopened immediately on completion of the works, with traffic diverted to Junction 11, where traffic can rejoin the N6 westbound and exit using the westbound off slip at J12.
