Roscommon County Council is collaborating with Catherine Fulvio on a Festive Food Waste Prevention Radio Campaign. The Christmas Season is the biggest time for generation of waste in the kitchen.  This six week campaign is running from 4th December to  13th  January covering food waste prevention tips such as:

• How to avoid food waste at Christmas in the first place by planning effectively and making a shopping list
• Information on how to store leftovers properly
• How to make the most of leftovers with some delicious tips and recipes
• Plans and good intentions for the new year to reduce Food Waste in 2018 

A Christmas Food Waste Recipe Book is available to download below as well as audio clips from the Festive Food Waste Campaign.
