Heritage Week 2026 takes place from 15th to 23rd August, celebrating Ireland’s cultural, built and natural heritage. The theme ‘Heritage at Risk’ encourages us to explore the built, natural and cultural aspects of our heritage that are endangered, for us to reimagine and revive these sites, artefacts and practices.

A small grant scheme is available to help support events. Applications are open until 29th May, with limited funding of €50–€200 available.
