Comhaltas Ceoltoirì na Eireann
Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann is an international organisation dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Irish traditional music, song, dance, and language. Founded in 1951, it serves as a global network for musicians and cultural enthusiasts, organising classes, workshops, and community events that nurture talent and strengthen cultural identity. One of its flagship events is Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann (often simply “The Fleadh”), the world’s largest annual festival of Irish traditional music, song, and dance. Attracting between 600,000 and 800,000 visitors each year, the Fleadh showcases the best of Irish culture and brings communities together in celebration of Ireland’s rich musical heritage.
