
Aleen Cust Centenary Commemorations
Roscommon County Council is proud to support the Aleen Cust Centenary Commemorations. Aleen Cust, the first woman to become a veterinary surgeon in Ireland and the UK was born in County Tipperary, Ireland. Remembered in Galway and Roscommon for her charm, integrity, intelligence and a highly capable practitioner.
There are several events planned as part of the celebrations.
