It is a privilege to hold the position of County Manager in Roscommon. I look forward to working in partnership with staff, elected members, citizens, Government Departments, State Agencies, business and cultural community groups in realising the vision adopted by Roscommon County Development Board endorsed by Roscommon County Council of "a vibrant place with an increasingly enhanced quality of life, sustained through employment generation, high quality infrastructure and a strong entrepreneurial spirit".

My over-arching vision is one of Roscommon projecting itself as at the heart of the Lakeland region where the vibrancy of our indigenous towns, villages and rural communities combine with a surrounding hinterland placing the county in a pivotal position to grow its economy and social services within an unstressed cultural and archaeologically rich environment.
