Affordable homes are provided by Roscommon County Council to help people who want to buy a home in County Roscommon but cannot afford to buy on the open market. If you wish to apply, check that you meet the criteria below, download the application form available on this page and return it to Roscommon County Council.

To Qualify for an Affordable Home you should:

be a first time buyer (certain exceptions apply)
be in full time employment for at least 6 months or self employed for at least 2 years
earn between €25,000 and €40,000 as a single applicant or up to €100,000 combined income if you are applying with someone else
