Roscommon County Council's Environment Department is responsible for environmental protection and enforcement of environmental legislation. Its primary objective is to protect, enhance and conserve the rich and natural environment of County Roscommon.

It has responsibility for:

• Waste Management
• Environmental Enforcement
• Litter Control
• Pollution Control
• Environment Education and Awareness
• Water Quality

This site is designed to allow you access information with regard to services provided by the Environment Section, for example location of Landfill, or Civic Amenity Sites.
