Material alterations for the Draft Castlerea Local Area Plan 2012-2018


Roscommon County Council 

In accordance with Section 20(3) of the Planning and Development Acts 2000 -2011, notice is hereby given that Roscommon County Council proposes material alteration of the Draft Local Area Plan (LAP) for Castlerea for the period 2012 - 2018

A copy of the proposed material alteration of the Draft LAP may be inspected at:

  • The Planning Office, Roscommon County Council, Golf Links Road, Roscommon and
  • The Customer Services Desk, Roscommon County Council, The Courthouse, Roscommon
  • Castlerea Area Office, Main Street, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.
  • Castlerea Branch Library, Main Street, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon.


For the period 13th December, 2011 - 18th January, 2012, during the hours 9.30 a.m. - 1.00 p.m. and 2.00 p.m. - 4.30p.m., Monday to Friday, (excluding bank holidays).

In addition the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) screening reports are also available for inspection.

Written submissions or observations may be made during the stated period and should be marked "Castlerea Local Area Plan", and submitted to: -

Forward Planning Section,
Roscommon County Council,
Courthouse,
Roscommon.

Written submissions or observations must be received by 4.30 p.m. on 18th January, 2012. The name of the person and /or body making the submission or observation should be stated. Submissions or observations with respect to the proposed material alteration of the Draft Local Area Plan made to Roscommon County Council within the stated period shall be taken into consideration before the making of any material alteration.
