Long-Term Leasing: Expressions of Interest
Roscommon County Council is seeking expressions of interest from Property Owners to provide properties for lease that will be used to accommodate individuals and families who qualify for social housing support. The intention is that Roscommon County Council will lease suitable properties from owners for a period of between 10-20 years.
Properties in the following towns only are required: Ballaghaderreen, Boyle, Castlerea, Roscommon and Monksland.
Newer houses, less than 5 years old are preferable. Apartments are not of interest. As a minimum Houses must be compliant with the Housing (Standards for Rented Houses) Regulations 2008 and must be unfurnished. The owner will retain responsibility for structural insurance, structural maintenance and structural repair.
IF A PREVIOUS SUBMISSION HAS BEEN MADE IN THIS REGARD THERE IS NO NEED TO MAKE A NEW SUBMISSION NOW. PREVIOUS SUBMISSIONS ARE STILL VALID.
Interested owners are requested to make a submission on the official submission form which is available to download, together with the Terms and Conditions, on the Roscommon County Council website. Alternately, application for the form may be made to the Housing Office at 090 6637238 or at housing@roscommoncoco.ie.
