Swimming Pool / Leisure Facilities

RCC

Roscommon Leisure Centre, which includes a heated 25 metre indoor swimming pool, childrens pool, gymnasium and leisure facilities was utilised by members of the public and various clubs from throughout the county during the year. Roscommon County Council continued to operate an outdoor swimming pool in Castlerea over the summer months.

Water Safety Programme:

The 2010 season was another active year for the water safety programme. A summer programme of swimming took place at different venues and lifeguards were employed in Lough Key and Hodson Bay amenities
