Consultation
Consultation is a very important aspect of our plan. The plan has been drafted by the Disability Implementation Team, an internal Disability Strategy steering group of Roscommon County Council, in cooperation with an external Disability Consultation Forum representing groups and people with disabilities.
The Disability Consultation Forum is comprised of representatives from
- Brothers of Charity Services
- People With Disabilities in Ireland
- Roscommon Support Group and Centre for Independent Living
- Health Services Executive
- Mental Health Ireland
- Deaf Hear
- NCBI
- National Disability Authority
- MS Ireland Roscommon Branch
- Irish Wheelchair Association
Members of the public have also contributed to the development of the plan.
