Long Service Medals 2008
Long Service Medal Awards and Certificates were presented to Members of Roscommon Civil Defence recently.
Making the presentation on the evening was Minister Michael Finneran, Mr. Bill Smith, Director General and Mr. John Tiernan, County Manager Roscommon County Council.
Present at the ceremony were Deputy Frank Feighan, Mr. Joe Meagher, Chairman of the Civil Defence Board, Mr. Michael McGreal, Mayor Roscommon County Council, Mrs Majella Hunt, Director of Services, Roscommon County Council, Members of An Garda Síochana, Fire Service and local politicians, representatives of the HSE, fellow Volunteers, and members of the local authority.
