Social Inclusion Awareness Week 2017

Monday 16th – 21st October

Social Inclusion is something that involves us all. Many of us are fortunate that we are able to live lives that allow us to develop our talents, realise our potential and have our voices heard. Imagine if you couldn’t do these things. What would it be like to be excluded because of a disability, the colour of our skin sexual orientation or economic status. Social Inclusion Week helps to promote an understanding of Social Inclusion and raise awareness about a number of issues including; creation of an age friendly society in response to population aging, mental health, people with disabilities and cultural diversity.

The Social Inclusion Unit, Roscommon County Council would like to thank all individuals, groups and organisations for taking part in Social Inclusion Week 2017.
